RARE SET of SIX (6) ANTIQUE MINTON CHINA G9473 SEASCAPE PLATES GILT HAND PAINTED SIGNED .These fine, special and eclectic old dinner plates are incised dated for 1898, made in Stoke On Trent England by the famous Mintons pottery. Enjoy the photos... detail seascape with beautiful pink coral and fish and the gilt bubbles \"rising up\" inside the deep red band is fabulous! Minton artist initials \"AHW\". This set is marked with the older \"Mintons England\" crown and globe, pattern#G9473, and that the set was made for the turn-of-the-century luxury retailer \"Higgins & Seiter New York\". Each of these six great Luncheon Size Plates measures 9 inches in diameter. The set is in Excellent Condition with little or no use and minor stacking wear to the deep red verge, 1 plate with fine crazing; no chips or cracks... a gorgeous set, design and colors are fabulous and distinctive, a great find... enjoy!
