A rare set of twelve Dutch solid silver cake forks with barley twist shafts leading to finely cast apostle terminals. Each apostle is different, carrying different items, to represent the different saints, a sign of quality as many sets just have the same generic apostle terminal.
The forks are offered in good condition and bears a tiny 835 mark to the base of the terminal along with other marks. Comes complete with original box which has a little wear and a mark to the interior and bears retailers marks for juwelier Oving, Groningon. It is also missing one of the two clasps but still fastens with just one.
Each fork measures just over 12cms with a combined weight of 166g.
