A very rare set of 5 birdback coin silver teaspoons, made by the Philadelphia based silversmith John Myers ca 1800.The spoons measure 14.5 cm in length and weigh 65 grams together. They are all marked I. Myers. They show wear consistent with age. Some of the bird decoration has almost completely worn away, but in others it shows better. One spoon has some small restoration to the bowl, and another a small fold and tear to the bowl. They are all engraved with initials MB??
