Published by Hodder in 1949 this is a hardcover first edition of a Sheila Pim novel set in Ireland. The pages are clean and the binding good; the wrapper is in two halves and has tears and creases and a big section missing from the bottom of the spine (please see photo). It has not been price-clipped however and has a very original and unusual design by J Morton Sale. A tale of adventure and romance.
