Rare Small Antique *Cretors* Popcorn Peanut Machine *Steam Engine*

…… After some searching on the net I was able to find several photographs of 19th century Popcorn & Peanut Machines made by Cretors of Chicago. After noticing how customers enjoyed watching a product like popcorn, as it was being made, Charles Cretors designed and built elaborate Popcorn Wagons and later magnificent and colorful Trucks.  At the center of every machine was one of these small Steam Engines. All the parts are nickel, so everything would be polished bright and the red of the turning 8 ½” diameter fly wheel would be hypnotizing. It wasn’t long before you had to buy a bag of Frensh Roasted Popcorn. Most of these wagons are long gone and the few that do survive are very rare and expensive. Thankfully some past owner saved this original Cretor’s Steam Engine. As you look at the photographs you will see this engine is in remarkable, all original, unrestored condition, and includes the original Cretor’s Steam Gauge. I guarantee that the high buyer will be able to make this Steam Engine work perfectly and there are no damages or any repairs. The iron base measure 10” wide by 24” long. If there are any other measurements I can provide just drop me an E-mail. In the last photograph you will see two connecting gears that went to the mecahnics of the popcorn machine. I\'m sure these gears are even rarer then the steam machine.

…… To make sure that same er wins this Rare Cretors Steam Engine it is listed without any reserve. I also guarantee 100% that the high buyer will be more than satisfied with the quality, condition of this small Steam Engine or I will return all their money.

…… Please check back, every once in a while. We list everyday and you never know what you might find listed without any reserve.
