RARE STERLING SILVER ROYAL CRIB CRADLE PIN CUSHION 1896 ANTIQUE VICTORIA JUBILEE:

An exquisite Victorian miniaturesterling silver cradle /cot. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1896 with themakers mark being CS*FS for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & JamesFrancis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. Note it has the Royal coat of arms on each end so was most likely made to mark Queen Victoria\'s Diamond Jubilee of 1897. It was most likely once filed and felted and used as a pin cushion. It is also marked with the registrationnumber Rd291605. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits holes andrepairs. It measures a over 2.25 inches (5.9cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.8cms)wide by almost 1.75 inches (4.3cms) tall and weighs 31 grams. An exquisite rare piece.
