Here is a neat one!It is a vintage 1905 era postcard mechanical postcard. It is from the Jamestown Exposition and is considered to be one of the most rare ever prduced for the event. It is called "The Teddy Bear Moving-Picture Mailing Card, Patented Jan. 15, 1907". Inside are Teddy Roosevelt type Teddy Bears, dressed in hats, coats etc. The card contains 144 possible views, with overlaying flaps that change the clothes, hats etc on the bears in each scene! The bears are enjoying the exposition and scenes show like "Inside Inn", "Lee Parade" and "Man-O-War Ship At Hampton style="text-align: center">A superaddition to either your Exposition, World's Fair type or Teddy Bear postcard collection!
Postcard is unsent. Condition is fair to good, with all flaps and pages intact. However the cover page has separated from the rest of the book. Would be easy to repair with acid free archival tape, but I'll leave that up to the winning buyer. Anywaves shown are from the scanner and are not on the actual item. Yourpurchase is shipped to you in a brand new rigid mailer.I gladly combine shipping costs on multiple purchases.Best of luck and thanks for offerding!
