This is a rare 1917 edition of The Rise Of David Levinsky, A Novel By Abraham Cahan. I says, copyright, 1917, By Harper & Brothers, Printed In The United States Of America, Published September 1917. It is possibly a true first edition. I am not a book expert, please see pics for best description. It also says, Harper & Brothers Publishers New York And London. It\'s in good condition other than the spine is broken away from the book. It\'s loose but intact. It looks like it could be re-glued or other desired method of stabilizing. Please see pics. There is also some foxing in the book and writing on the first page, which is a blank page. The writing is in pencil and very light and faded. I think it could be easily removed/erased if desired. This book comes from a smoke free home. I have not tried to clean, I will leave that to buyers preference. I am selling as is. Please feel free to email any questions. on this rare collectible book.
