RARE RARE RARE New old stock of Tiiffany and Company hair barrettes designed by Angela Cummings in the 1970\'s. Ms. Cummings was known for working with platinum, sterling silver, and 18K gold and also incorporated ancient methods of jewelry making into her designs. This old approach known as damascene (named for ancient Damascus) is created by inlaying precious metals into iron. These are from the series of jewelry for hair that was created using that technique with inlaid gold and backed by silver. Includes the Tiffany felt storage bag. Barrettes measure 1 1/2 inches long. Signed with the copyright symbol, T & CO, and Silver.
