For sale here is one of a kind, custom hand-made Jim Lile Bowie Knife. This knife was custom made for Mark Denburg, a South Florida antique dealer & collector. It was made upon a specific request for Mark by the \'Arkansas Knifesmith\'. The very same knife smith who made the hunting knife for Sylvester Stallone in \'First blood\'. Jim Lile was so famous, that on October 18 1990, he presented an Ivory Lock folding hunter to President Reagen. This Bowie knife is 17\" long in total with a blade length of 12\". It features engravings on both sides of the bade by \'Shaw & Leibowitz\'. Sherril Shaw & Leonard Leibowitz were a talented husband & wife that prodced many collectible knifes in the 70\'s & 80\'s. They joined the knife guild in 1971. Their engravings on this knife, combined with Jim Lile as the knife maker, makes this knife a true & rare collectible item. Shaw & Leibowitz name shows on this knife (see photos).The knife is enraved by Jim Lile himself. The engraving reads: \" Hand made by James B. Lile. Feb 1973. One only for Mark Denburg\".This knife will include a custom made display case.
