For all of my listings, please visit my class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style=\"font-size: large; font-family: Arial; text-align: left;\">APPROXIMATE ITEM SIZE (Measured in inches – Length x Width x Height): Oak rack - Approximately 50\" wide x 24\" tall by 3\" deep; Each poster/chart - Approx 72\" top to bottom with the actual chart area being closer to 60\" and approx 41 1/2\" wide.

ITEM CONDITION:The overall condition of each chart ranges from Good++ to Excellent +++. A few of the retractors are not functioning while most fuction good ++ to great; All of the charts have about a 6\" swath of discoloration/general fading across the bottom portion of the chart. The titles on the dowels vary in readability with all of the them have some loss of the label, some worse than others. Most if not all of the dowels have splitting but are all very functional. CONDITION ISSUES/SPECIAL NOTES: Any questions, please ask prior to offerding. Here is a chart by chart description:

Plate 1 - Skeletal System:Very good + condition; Multiple wrinkles, mostly on the Right side. Small hole in the bottom of the poster section and bottom canvas section. There is also a small tear near the lower left dowel on the brown canvas section. Retraction works good +
Plate 2 - Muscular System:Good + to Very Good condition overall. Crease down pretty much the middle of the chart. Numerous wrinkles, especially on the right side and bottom with gouging and a tear at the bottom middle of the poster. Lower edge wear and some stains. Retraction does not work. Nice chart overall.
Plate 3 - Nervous and Circulatory System: Excellent + overall condition. There is a stain on the upper left section near the nervous system skull. There are also light to moderate surface tears/scrapes by the Right foot of the circulatory system. Light wrinkles on the bottom and some side creases. Retraction works near perfect and overall, a fantastic piece.
Plate 4 - Heart/Circulation: Very good + overall condition; General overall wear. There are several creases, especially in the middle and right. Slight tear to the lower left brown canvas section near the dowel. Lower edge wear. Little hard to get retractor to stick when rolling out completely to display. Retracting in works great.
Plate 5 - Ear and Eye: Excellent +++ overall condition. Multiple little stains along the bottom of the poster and some wrinkles at the bottom of the chart with some other minor creases but overall, incredible piece. Retractor works excellent but stingy getting to hold for display.
Plate 6 - Chest and Abdomen: Excellent ++ condition: Lower edge wear and some light creases near bottom. Small tear only lower brown canvas by dowel. Retraction works ok but faulty. Fantastic chart overall.
Plate 7 - Head and Neck:Excellent overall condition - Side wear, especially on the bottom; Multiple wrinkles/creases, especially on the right side. A small tear on the canvas near the Right bottom dowel. Retraction works great with a quick pull.
Plate 9 - Endocrine System (1939 chart): Very good + overall condition; Various stains the bottom 12\" of the chart. Tearing at the middle bottom chart section and multiple creases over especially the bottom 1/4 of the chart and right side in general. Retraction works but does not roll tight - overall fair with the retraction. Very nice chart overall.

The oak rack definitely has some wear and some cracks but overall is still in great condition. All in all, an incredible and rare find. I have done my absolute best to describe this as accurately as possible. This is a nearly 100 year old piece that is in great condition for it\'s age. Overall, a stellar piece.
These charts are from Fritz Frohse, famous German anatomist and doctor. They were edited and revised by Max Brodel andPublished by Nystrom - Chicago, 1918 (except for the one chart - 1939).

FINAL COMMENTS:This is an incredibly rare and unique find. 8 charts (7 charts from 1918 and one from 1939) and the original (believed to be) oak rack. Self retracting, which functions on most of the charts to at least some level. Awesome find and would be an incredible addition to your collection.
