Up for your consideration is this absolutely stunning set of 6 nearly antique,1920\'s hand made, hand painted, hand lacquered, hand gilded Japanese black lacquerware stemware wood sake cocktail glasses. Hand crafted in Japan, these gorgeous pieces of folk art measure 4 1/2\" tall with a 2 1/2\" diameter and a 2\" base.The design pattern features the Golden (24Kt gilded) Onagadori Rooster on a Cherry Tree branch with Cherry Blossoms. The interior of each aperitif cup is likewise gilded. This set is in excellent pre-owned condition with only minor use and age related wear. The gilding is still very shiny as is the lacquering.
