Description

A rare vintage figural shaped ashtray or a bowl. Glazed ceramic portraying an owl sitting on edge. Dating to ca. 1930s, made by Ditmar Urbach in first Czechoslovakian republic.

In art deco period of 1920s up to 1940s Ditmar Urbach launched a big series of differently shaped figural ashtrays, bowls and tip trays. After those years only well known bear and elephant were produced others became much more rare to find - hedgehogs, owls, monkeys, dogs or even penguins.

Condition: Perfect collectible condition.

Dimensions :14 cm height x 16 cm width
