Inspection Report:

Up for sale is a rare used and previously owned 1940s Gibson J-45 Acoustic Guitar w/ Hard Case. Guitar has been tested and works properly. It features a number 2706 stamped on the inside. From my very limited knowledge and some googling I think this is any where from the first year they were made in 1942 or up to 1944, I just can\'t be sure because I am in no way an expert. The guitar has normal signs of wear from use including some nicks/chips and over all crackling in the finish. There is also a crack on the side as pictured. There are 19 frets that show heavy wear from use. It also looks like there was one time electronics in the guitar because of the hole on the side but I\'m not the original owner so I can\'t know for sure. Please inspect pictures as they are considered part of the item description.

Guitar shows normal wear from use and age.
Wear includes scratches/scuff/nick/chips on the finish, crackling finish all over the front and back.
There is a crack along the side.
The finish is worn along the back side of the neck.
Hole from electronics?
Neck is straight.
There are 19 frets that show heavy wear.
