Vintage Collectible 1940s Dutch Boy Sailor Cookie Jar! An outstanding piece of kitchenware for any home! With the his Sailor outfit, this dutch boy cookie jar is showing off his patriotism and support for our troops. He is an absolute joy to see, no matter how he is displayed. He will make you smile with his whimsical design while touching your heart with his spirit of support. Designed and made during WWII these Dutch Boy cookie jars have become a collector\'s must have, in a variety of collection categories.He is in phenomenal condition given his age. There is slight dis-coloration on the rim of the top section which cannot be seen unless looking at the bottom of the lid. I am confident that this is due to age and use. On the bottom, there is also discoloration, due to having been used and moved. Throughout the piece, there are small white areas that have shown through. They are not rough or chips. They are smooth and would appear to have occurred during the firing process. Please closely examine the photos, for the piece(s) you are interested in purchasing.
