This is a rare & truly wonderful example of a Vintage 9ct Solid Gold \'Racing Greyhound\' Dog Brooch by Alabaster & Wilson dating to 1972. The Brooch is crafted in stunning detail; complete with a textured body & Garnet set eye depicting the grace of a Greyhound running in full flight(please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This finest quality vintage Brooch weighs 11.1 grams and measures approx\' 4.8cms long. As shown, it is stamped with the maker\'s mark \'A&W\' for Alabaster & Wilson of Birmingham, who are regarded as one of the finest manufacturer of exclusive brooches & other jewellery in the world.
