This Barclay (#618) Elderly Woman was part of a collection of my Dad\'s that he incorporated into his Lionel train layouts. Most of my Dad\'s train purchases were made between 1947 and 1950. My Dad left his train collection to me in 1999, a while before he died, and I had hopes of picking up where he left off. While I have many of my Dad\'s hobbies, the reality of making the time to embrace his train enthusiasm seems so distant. His trains and accessories have continued to sit in a box and I have decided it would be a shame to not let them live on in the hands of other enthusiasts who appreciate the hobby. Please look at the photos closely. I will attempt to describe this piece accurately. The description and photos stand to provide the detail for you to accept the condition of this item \"as-is.\" This item holds its original paint finish. While there are chips and wear marks along some edges of the paint finish, there are no significant scratches or gouges in the lead figure.
