This vintage standing Manjushri is a rare find as most Manjushri statues are in the sitting form. That apart, the wonderful rich detailing of the robe, the majestic arched crown above his head, the beautifully proportioned wheel in his left hand and the unique rectangular lotus stand on which he stands make it an exceptional piece of sacred art sculpture.


Condition of the Statue: old, indeterminate age, superb quality. Despite its age, the 24K gold gilding is still intact, although worn out in many places. Nonetheless, it is in good shape with all parts intact.
