this is an extremely rare disney donald and uncle scrooge collectible!
i have never seen another one of these
retro looking donald duck, as a clock on one side (his arms are movable to set the time), and uncle scrooge the graphic up top
i have no guess as to vintage, but based on the wear, the materials of construction and the graphics, my best guess would be 1960\'s. if there is someone out there who knows more about this item\'s era of manufacture, please let me know
it is all metal, with cool (very retro on some) graphics, and the writing is in spanish! one line (translated) says something like \"the bank of the rich mcduck\" or some such. another line says \"the fortune is safe in this strong bank.\" another one says \"increase your money\" and shows a picture of a castle
there is a slot to deposit coins, and the other side has a showy vault combination dial and heavy hinge, but it really opens with a little mechanism to the left of those things
it\'s about 8\" tall, 6\" wide and 4 1/2\" deep
it has wear befitting its vintage (see pix)
this was bought by a very high end collector and never used; it was stored on a shelf and left there.... til now
for the disney collector who has to have it all! ; )
