VINTAGEDOCKING ROCKET NASA SPACECRAFT TIN TOY DAIYA JAPAN W/ BOX RARE

Thisis one of Daiya\'s realistic looking space toys that reflects thelatest developments in NASA space exploration. The wheeled silver tinand plastic battery operated rocket is attached by string to a whiteplastic Lunar Lander docking module. Flashing lights, noise androtating light blue plastic antenna. The main rocket is 12” long,the whole toy is 17” long.
The space craft moves forward onthree wheels with the rear two wheels providing power as theremovable blue plastic antenna twirls. The main space craft tows asecondary capsule behind it and while moving, releases thisattachment to trail behind some 8-10 inches and then reels it backin, all this accompanied by suitable \'space rocket noise\'. When fulldocking takes place electrical contacts are engaged and lights flashin the secondary craft. My sources date this toy at 1969.

Toyis in perfect working order. Cosmetically it has some flaws in the paint particularly on the top toward the nose. Pleaserefer to photos as photosare of actual item you will receive.
