This sale is for the ORIGINAL VINTAGE 4x5-INCH BLACK AND WHITE DOUBLEWEIGHT PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINT SHOT AND PRINTED BY MID-20th CENTURY PHYSIQUE STUDIO WESTERN PHOTOGRAPHY GUILD (DON WHITMAN). The model is UNIDENTIFIED. The absence of a zip code on the back of this STAMPED print indicates it was marketed by WPG in the late 1950s or early 1960s, but the tonality of the print suggests to me that this is an early 1950s print. The print clearly was previously pasted down into an album, and I have been reluctant to attempt to remove the remnants of album paper that obscure the series number of this set, but the numeric NO. 1-5 is visible, and someone who knows the earliest WPG models may recognize this model, who is posed with a bowling ball.
