Thanks for viewing this vintage 8-day French carriage clock with antique key. Marked J.E. Caldwell Philadelphia on the back. A 11 jewel platform, pallet escapement. The J.E. Caldwell on the front dial has faded with some cracks in enamel as pictured. Has Numerical dialThe case is brass. The dial is baked enamel. Please see pictures. I offer the above description based on sales of past clocks I found on internet and their description. Mechanism winds but clock does not appear to run did not mess withit further. hands turn with key in back. 3.5 Wx 2.5 Dx 4.5 Tall (6\" including handle).
