This rod has been discontinued and hard to find, those who are looking for one know. Guides are in good condition, secure and strong. I had 3 sections between guides professionally wrapped with black thread then finished in gel-coat. This was suggested by my rod builder to eliminate matting which was beginning to appear thru original gel coat finish, common on Loomis Hybrid models. (see last 2 photo\'s)
Rod is now stronger with no effect on performance. AWESOME, POWERFUL ROD, READY TO FISH!!!!
