The Niles Co., Lowell, Mass. Aluminum Casting. These were road signs throughout the states that George Washington traveled during his lifetime. This sign was purchased from a Shadyside (Pittsburgh) antique store over thirty-five years ago. The dealer assured me that it was legally obtained during a highway expansion whichrequired its removal. This is the only one I haveever seen for sale, so I suspect relative rarity. I ship on Friday.
