Vintage Goldenberg-Stanley Model D351-E42 8 3/4\"Smoothing Coffin Plane

Made in France

It\'s similar to ECE or Ulmia plane with lignum vitae sole.

The sole is in very good condition, with tight mouth, made of Ekki (Azobe, scientific name: Lophira alata) a very hard and dense wood with a long longevity (used mainly in marine application)

New old stock

Items may have some light surface rust on the steel parts for been stored for a long time.

Old style package shows some wear from being moved and stored.

From a Hardware store that when out of business.
