From the 1920\'s, this is a four point Hudson\'s Bay Wool Blanket with a Red Label. The label and stitching are in perfect condition, as well as the entire blanket itself. Blanket has no stains or tears, and is surprisingly perfect for how old it is. Four points indicates sizing, and it is said that back during the fur trade, the lines / points also signified how many beaver pelts it was to cost in trade.
This is an unbelievable deal if you at into collecting Hudson\'s Bay products with preserved historical value. Keep is as a collectable, or use it as a beautiful warm wool piece for your home. Could be used as an extra large throw, display blanket, or comforter.
Heavy and substantial. Remains thick all throughout and NO areas show wear. This product must have been stored away for its life for the condition that It is in. Wool is both wind and water resistant.
Color is a cream with navy stripes on the top and bottom. Would be a great solid color neutral piece.
