!!! LOW OPENING !!! Rare vintage early to mid 19th Century Hudson Bay Co. Dagger...This is a rare seldom seen straight handle dagger, unlike the most common \"rounded hilt\" Version that are often copied. This dagger is 100% original....It measures just over 12\" in overall length with a 7\" blade. The ornate brass studed handle has a couple of light cracks, but should be expected. Marked with a small HB on the hilt which would be the proper mark for this period.(see photo)I do not normally put a reserve on my sales, but this is one of the nicest pieces in my collection.
