Here we have an amazing piece of history from the world\'s finest shaving brush manufacturer. This Polo 10 was made by the original family-owned Simpsons brush company last century. The craftsmanship on this totally hand made brush is exquisite. The lathe work is perfect and the knot is well formed and in excellent condition. The brush does not shed and is ideal for bowl lathering, though I prefer to face lather and used it that way the brush is just too big for my tastes. The original lamp black lettering is intact and easily legible. The badger hair used in this brush is labeled as best but it is softer than any modern Simpsons Best that I have tried, and I have tried lots!
