This is a great vintage anemometer made by Tycos of Rochester, NY. It is in excellent, working condition. When air moves from the dial side to the back, the needles move counter-clockwise. When air move from the back to the front, they move clockwise. All dials appear to move as they should. The fan blades move with the slightest bit of air and are extremely well balanced. The only issue with the instrument is some minor white paint flaking on the dial face. It does come with the original case, which has seen a lot of use. The leather top flap is held together with tape. There is a correction chart on the inside and instructions on the back plate. The anemometer is about 4 5/8\" tall and 4\" wide. The case is about 6\"x5\"x3\".
