This is a gorgeous French Medal of the Holy Face of Jesus which is very old, but in almost perfect condition. This rare medal is \"new old stock\" with a 22K gold plating (not like the flash plating of today). It is signed Karo, which is a name that is very collected and respected. This piece is as beautiful as the day it was made. It has the \"IHS\" on the back in the center of the Crown of Thorns. We came across quite a few pieces that we will be listing that are NOS from the factory they were originally made. This was packed in it\'s original paper from long ago. I can honestly say that I could not believe my eyes! There may be some surface scratching and/or tarnish on the metal from being packed away for many many years. Measures 1\" in diameter.
