Wow, it is hard to find these dresses in larger sizes and this one has great details! Authentic late 30s, early 40s dress with scalloped sleeves, neckline, and down the front, pleated detail at shoulders. Unusual color! Darker than peach or tangerine or salmon, softer/lighter than rust, my best try is a dusty rose with hint of salmon. Fantastic buttons: square mother of pearl, the two on chest area have some carved detail. One faint darker spot to note just below back collar, pictured. Bust: 50\", waist: 40\", hips: 48\" (measured flat and doubled) One caveat: there are no side or back openings, so would need to fit over your head with the waist measurement as buttons are sewn on and decorative rather than functional. (I wear a US size 16 and this is still quite large on me and on my size 8 mannequin, looks better on a larger frame!) Please check measurements. I adore scallop edges on vintage dresses and the buttons on this one are truly gorgeous. Fantastic find, low start price!
