Rolfs founded Amity Leather in downtown West Bend, which eventually became the world\'s largest manufacturer of leather billfolds. Amity Leather left the city in 1996.
Somewhere along the line many years ago dad bought a couple of absolutely beautiful Amity Dark Brown Leather Center-Zip Travel Kit bags. You won\'t be able to find this anywhere, trust me, so RARE! He had them in the clothing closet for decades. These look like the ones\' a foreign dignitary might use in the 50\'s or 60\'s, or, at least some distinguished executive would be proud to travel with. They are beautiful and will be priced right, no defects, but this one will NOT include box. The leather is not soft nor hard, stands up on its own so more of a medium shell if we had to describe it. The zipper works perfectly and nothing is damaged. You get nothing else but a beautiful travel bag. Scarcity determines price here. Own a piece of history.
The one being sold in this listing is in MINT CONDITION, but may have previously been used to store a bar of perfumed soap. Again, it does not come with a box even though its sitting on one in the photos. Sort of smells like a perfumed soap, as a result, but it will be priced right as it sales, but with ability to make an offer due to the smell and no box.
