Wow! There’s a sign you don’t see every day! I think this 5 ½”x 8” brass sign probably was on a wooden display case as it has 4 very smallbrad-sized holes for hanging. I have done a very quick cleaning of the front sothat you can see the details on this sign! A more substantial cleaning wouldreally give this sign some “zip”! I have left the patina on the back alone. Theleft leg reads: “Did this ever happen to your silk stocking?” While the right leg reads: “No run startsabove can pass the Gold Stripe”!
