Description: RARE c1940s Pan American World Airways (Pan Am) 10K Gold and Blue Enamel Winged Globe Logo Screw Back Pin. It is older and more simple than the vast majority of similar pins. Just a gold wing over a globe that has blue enamel for the oceans. Also note there is no little star in the wing above the globe. The back is simply marked 10K-B. It has a threaded screw back post. When I acquired it, there was a sterling silver screw back disc. I\'m not sure if this is original, but it fits right and it is what will be included.Measurements: 3/4\" by 7/16\" (dime shown for scale). Circular silver screw back is 1/2\" diameter. Weight is 1.12 grams without the screw back.Condition: Good condition. I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO CLEAN IT. It could be cleaned/polished. Minor dust and light soiling to the surface and in the little crevices. Sterling silver pin back has oxidized also. Please inspect the photos.
