Vintage~Rare~Old School

Original Spitz Planetarium Wood/Iron Curved BenchSeating

Straight from the old Lakewood High School Planetarium

at Lakewood High school in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area.

The school is slated for a partial demolition/reconstruction and the old Planetarium section (closed some years ago), and was located in the doomed section of the building.

From what we understand it is from the late

1950\'s- early 1960\'s.

We rescued the Spitz A2 model Projector along with all of the original Spitz circle bench seating,from being other historic pieces that sadly and carelessly would have simply gone down in the rubble and turned into scrap metal.

The Spitz A2 Projector and console was sold previously.

*The pictures show only 6 benches, but we originally had all 14 benches, but only have 10 left available

7 shorter front row benches and 3 longer rear row benches left.

Listed price is for one (1) section* of the Original Spitz Bent Plywood bench style seating.

There are 10 total bench sections left available

There are 2 different length benches available

The shorter front row curved benches measure

measure 63\" wide

The longer rear curved benches measure 79\" wide.

The rest of the bench dimensions are the same

15\" tall @ seat height

31\" tall @ back top height

27\" total bench depth (back of bench top to bench seat front)

Once again the listed price is for one section of choice length.
