Rare vintage B.H. Wragge coat in vibrant shade of orange with vertical lines of lavender, rust and melon. Four fabric buttons to close the front, two vertical pockets at hip area, side slits that run 18\" up from the hemline to the hip area, quilted plain orange lining. Fabulous graphic pattern - B.H. Wragge fabrics were often designed by established artists. Their line of separates was popular with college crowds in the fifties and sixties. Based on the label I believe this coat dates to the mid sixties.
This coat is in very good vintage condition. There are two light marks to the fabric on the lower right front - see photo - and a dark \"dot\" near the right waist area. I believe these will launder out with the right cleaning product. As this garment has been packed away and stored for many years it would benefit from either hand laundering or dry cleaning.
