Antique Hand Embroidered Silk Canton Manton De Manila Huge Piano Shawl From ART DECO ERA

features beautiful intricate elaborate relief multi-color very lush allover floral motif & foliage
with amazing PEONIES and other wonderful flowers, hand embroidered in all shades of a vibrant red, raspberry, blue, peach,
taupe, teal, beige, graysilkthreads against white / off white silk ground- just gorgeous!

Theshawl is nicely finished with a very long and heavy Hand Knotted White / Off White Silk Fringeswith a Macrame top hand knotted
in a beautiful Net design!

The fringes were attached to the silkby hands.

Please, note: this is not so called \"antique \"piano shawl what we can see a lot on the today\'s market,
but really authentic antique hand embroidered heavy silk piece of art, dates from the turn of the Century, early 1900\'s -early 1920\'s.

Actual Measurements approximately,(slightly rectangular shape, not exactly square):

99\" - 101,\" x 106\" - 104\" ,including fringe on each side21\" - 22\"

Embroidered silk field: 57\"x 62\"

21\" - 22\" - total length of fringes including macrame portion
6 1/2\" - macramé portion of fringes
total weight - about 3 perfect antique condition with respect to its age, shows some minorslight soiling, someloose threads, typical for antique embroidery,
some faint very slightly yellowish marks here and there, hardly noticeableand not so visible on the photos; we noticed one yellowish mark,
about 3\"x0.3/8, and one tiny point of thinness on the corner, see last pictures.
probably will need refresh,never was washed or cleaned....

All fringes are slightly tangled, but rarely full and intact!

We did not see tears, the shawl does not have any bad odor.

We did not clean and did not iron this shawl in a reason not to damage this beauty.
