I am offering for sale an authentic WW2 Winchester M1 Garand stock. This is for sure a real WW2 stock, not a fake. It is a later WW2 WRA with the short op-rod channel. Stock is in reasonably good condition with no cracks, but it was on a re-worked rifle that went through Rock Island Arsenal after the war and has the typical RIA inspectors mark and a second \"Circle P\' proof stamp. I don\'t think the RIA markings could be sanded out without leaving a visible dent. There is a smallish area on the left side of the butt near the heel that looks like it was some old filler (plastic wood) material that is filling in a dent or gouge. The WRA/GHD cartouche is very weak and I can not see any remains of the \"WRA\", and some of the GHD is visible, but you have to look hard. Same with the cross cannon Ord. wheel. Light, but can be seen if you look hard. Lets face it, this is not a super high grade collectors stock. What it is, is a reasonably good condition,solid, useable WRA stock with very light but identifiable markings. This might be a good item for you if you are in need of a real WW2 Winchester Garand stock for a restoration and want to keep the cost kind of reasonable for what it is.

Because of the ever increasing costs of shipping larger items I will now only ship items like this via US mail parcel post. I guess they call it economy shipping now, or something like that. I charge a flat fee of $13.00 to the lower 48. Alaska or Hawaii will have to pay extra to make up the cost. If shipping is cheaper by $2 then I will send a refund to you. I seriously do not want or try to make money off of shipping. Winning buyer has a seven day inspection period. If dissatisfied, return for refund minus all shipping costs both ways.
