Compact, early crystal wireless set receiver, \"Red Star\", manufacturedby the “Baduf” company in Germany, average dating 1922 to 1924. Anexcellent example of the variety of design found in such simple early domesticwireless broadcast radioreceivers. Wood cabinetmeasures 4,5 x6,5 x 3,5inches.Variable inductance coil typetuning (see picture from inside). Nice cat\'s whisker / galenadetector. Terminalsforheadphones. A classic radio set from the so-called \"Marconi\" era at the beginning ofdomestic BBC radio broadcasting. Thisset is in average good condition - there are some spots on the top paint and someage wear to the corners of the case - please see photos. Looks to be all complete, but it is untestedand is sold as a \"collector\'s display item\".
