This cookie jar has the upright wing ink stamp and the Red Wing USA impression from the mold, which dates it to the late 1940\'s (the ink stamp was discontinued in 1950). There are no cracks and no external chips. The only external defect is a 1x2 mm spot on his cheek with no glaze (see photo). Internally, there are a half dozen tiny chips on the inside lip of the \"lid\" (Pierre\'s upper body - see photo), and some crazening on the bottom of the lower half. The crazening is minor and involves no discoloration, as can be seen in the photo.
