This is a huge platter, almost 20\" long with an unusual configuration of divided wells in its surface. It is a monumental platter, with silverplating in very good condition and no serious flaws such as dents or dings. There are no signs of serious wear. It was made, we suspect, shortly before mid-century by the English Silver Manufacturing Corporation, an American firm, here in the U.S.A. It carries the company\'s marks and icon along with a number \'374\', likely a model designation.It\'s perfect for the upcoming feast holidays and for many years into the future.
