Love Disarmed by Reed and Barton is one of, if not the most

sought afterSterling Silver Patterns in the world.

Originally introduced in 1899 then reintroduced in the 1970\'s

This pattern is extremely hard to find

whether you are looking for older or newer pieces.

This lovely serving piece is one of the reintroduced pieces from the 70\'s,

it has a Sterling Handle with a Mirrorsteel Stainless Blade.

Great condition, used once, only very light scratches on the blade.

Love Disarmed is an Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Flatware pattern depicting the goddess Venus and flanked by Cupid, the Roman god of love and mischief. This pattern is equally beautiful on the back side with lovely poppy blossoms.

Love Disarmed was produced for 29 years between 1899 and 1928, at which point it was retired. Reed & Barton then reintroduced the pattern in 1970 and those pieces are now Vintage. After 112 years, it remains a highly desirable, sought after pattern and rightfully so, because as you can see, it is exceedingly beautiful and becoming harder to acquire.

This pattern has told a story like no other pattern while creating cherished dinnertime memories for generations & more to come.
