Rare SOUTH BEND #291 4-piece bamboo fly rod, 4/1. Beautifulstraw colored canerefurbished with a non-glare matteoil-rubbed finish, with variegated brown wraps trimmed with goldenrod, lite wire snakes, agate stripper, REC burled seat and prime cork handle. Ferrules sound with pop. Slight set in the tip, in no way affecting performance. Originally rated for a HDH and does throw a nice 5/6 weight line with a sweet medium action. A very nice upgrade on a South Bend classic that travels in a 21\" tube. Excellent unfished condition post-restoration.
Comes in new bag and anodized brass & aluminum Landmark tube.
A sought after model in it\'s 290 two-piece configuration, even more coveted in it\'s rarer 4-piece 291 configuration.E-mail me with any further questions.
