Being presented for sale is thisRegal VictorianWalnutand Burl WalnutCylinder RollSecretary Desk with Bookcase Top, and Gallerycirca 1875.This fantasticVictorianSecretary Deskfeatures its originalwavy glass, hardware and alovelyfitted interior inner desk portion with a pull out writing surface,gorgeous burl walnut on the cylinder roll portion,and period dovetailed ends on the drawers.Beautiful rosettes accent theraised panels of burl all around theglass doors.The bookcase portion offers three adjustable shelves for display those special books and collectibles. There are two tasseled keys, one that works the locks on the drawers at the base, and the other one just aids in opening the glass doors butdoes not work the lock. This secretarybreaks down intothree pieces foreasier handling during shipping and moving ( top, desk base, gallery). This Victorian secretary has astately presence andfeatures an abundance of fine details and is in wonderful antique condition with no issues or apologies noted.
