A. Reibestein Wiener Bronze - Flower Pot - Cyclamen

We are offering this authentic Vienna Bronze (Wiener Bronze), handmade and hand painted in Austria by one of the last workshops in Vienna that still produces the Vienna Bronze figures. These figures are still in production, but the design dates back to the period 1850 - 1900 and has originally been manufactured by \"GHAR Wien\". \"GHAR\" stands for \"G. H. & A. Reibestein\" one of a few hundred workshops that produced Vienna Bronze figures around 1900. This flower pot is approximately 36mm tall. Please understand that these figures are handmade and vary from piece to piece. Small paint abrasions are also normal. You will receive a flower model as shown on the photos with the single flower, the other flowers that are shown in the group pics can be found in my other listings.

The item will be delivered in a small gift bag.

About the production of these figures

The material of the object is brass. They are made of casted parts and small formed brass chips like the leafs. The casting technique: Achieving such a high level of detail requires a very complex and time intensive production process: At the beginning moulds of wax were created, including drains for air and melted brass. All that was covered with clay. The mould was dried and fired. At the same time the wax melted and created a hollow space which was later filled with molten bronze. After casting and cooling the ceramic mould was destroyed and the brass core removed. The drains were then taken off and the whole surface was engraved by hammer and punch followed by the very costly and detailed painting.

I am located in Vienna, Austria, EU and ship from here. Although all parcels go by airmail, sometimes it can take a bit longer than expected. An average parcel, e.g. to the USA, takes about 10-14 business days to arrive. Sometimes it can also take 3-4 weeks. There are customs and security checks involved that sometimes delay the shipment.

Especially smaller parcels (up to 1kg), get in many cases upgraded at my costs to priority parcel mail (depends on the weight and destination). Still there is no guaranteed shipping time.

Carriers I use are the Austrian Post and sometimes smaller carriers like Hermes and GLS. In your country the parcels will be delivered with a local carrier (e.g. USPS in the USA).
