Charming, antique doorbell cover plate salvaged from NorthEastern Pennsylvania. of Reading. The plate is made of stamped bronze--solid bronze, not plated iron.
At the point of salvage, the plate was painted and heavily tarnished (see last photo). Since then, we\'ve removed the paint, and cleaned and polished it to the best of our ability.
The plate has a few small nicks, tiny dents, and light scratches, however, there are no breaks, cracks, chips, gouges, or deep scratches.
