This is a great old light string with thin plastic, possibly celluloid, covers in the form of iconic fifties images. There are an old style car, a rounded camper, a Dalmatian dog and a fire hydrant. This set is in remarkably good shape for its age and thinness of the plastic. Minimal darkening or fading and no notable breaks. One light does not have a cover: a fire hydrant has gone missing. Lights all work and wiring is sound. For scale, the dog is about 3 ½” tall. I’ve left on the old plastic clips someone probably used to string these on the patio of the motor home. Retro kitsch at its best.
