Up for offer is a very scarce original Revolutionary War French military document regarding the evacuation of Hartford to Providence Rhode Island in November of 1782. The document is written in French and appears to relate to the movement of supplies from Hartford to Providence. The document is dated November 8th 1782 at providence and is signed by a French officer but I cannot make out the name. Appears to be Martin De Le??? The document measures approx. 8 x 8.25 inches in size.The document is in solid original condition exhibiting some period folds and soiling as well as some toning on the back of document. The ink is bold and legible.
