This pretty Art Nouveau tile design by \"Richards, Ltd.,\" of England, displays twin, embossed, floral wreaths of purple tulips, in opposite diagonal corners, in two of its four quartered sections, which are glazed in two shades of green. This tile was made at a time when Art Nouveau was fading and Art Deco was on the rise.

Condition: Very Fine. The tile displays the typical crazing found in most brilliantly glazed tiles of its age. Verso displays slight edge stains, which could be the result of wood stain being applied to the furniture this tile decorated.
