LOVELY VINTAGE RIPPLE VASE BY IMPERIAL , DEEP MARIGOLD (PUMPKIN)
The ripple pattern vases made by Imperial Glass (original, vintage - not re-issues) are extremely popular due to the grace of shape and design outside of flowing concentric circles that pick up the iridescent colors so well. this one is beautiful that way :PLUS, the opening at the top shows a vivid rainbow of colors inside as well as out. It stands about 10 \" tall and the base measures about 3\" across. It is regarded as a mid-size or standard size. Extra nice color!There is no damage on this pretty. No cracks, no chips, no air bubbles, no stains or sun bleaching. Base is formed well and solid - no wobble on table. The top ruffle is delightful and open enough to position flowers and show the inside rainbow of rippling colors but not so open it is top heavy. The glass itself is clear and healthy and glowing. The seams are barely noticeable and with no extra blobs of glass from mold extraction. All together - this is a delight!
